Bad News

Well the town meeting was held, and the Mercy Park Development zoning was passed.  Thus we have a new development going in at the end of Dorking Road.  You'll find that the current representatives responsible for voting FOR the amendment to the Zoning Law that permitted the development (the BAD guys) are:

SANDRA FRANKEL

and

JAMES VOGEL

Voting AGAINST the amendment (The good guys) are:

RAYMOND TIERNEY

and

SHERRY KRAUS

So, before you go down to the voting booths in October, or whenever our good friends SANDRA and JAMES are up for reelection - be sure to vote AGAINST re-electing them.  They are the one's that are directly responsible for the mess at the end of our street, the extra traffic, the parking lights, the general construction noise, the blasting, and the overall cow-towing to the needs of the Sisters before the needs of the community.  Despite overwhelming objections to this development by the community, despite a lengthy battle where community residents put in huge amounts of time to fight this development THEY WERE THE ONES WHO APPROVED IT.

Let's hold them responsible at voting time.
